The Savannah Lathe Spindle Adapter allows you to easily reduce your spindle size on your lathe for using different lathe accessories that have a smaller thread size. This adapter will reduce your 1-1/4" x 8 tpi lathe spindle size down to a 1" x 8 tpi thread size. The 1" x 8 tpi thread size is very common throughout the woodturning industry. The adapter has "flats" on both sides for tightening and loosening with a wrench (wrench NOT included). Extends the spindle over 1-1/2".
