4 inch to 2-1/2 inch Hose to Hose Reducer
Many machines, dust collectors, workshop vacuums and other power tools come in many different shapes and sizes, the two most common hose size in the woodworking industry is by far the 4" diameter hose and the 2-1/2" diameter hose. With that, we sometimes have to connect the two hoses together in order to connect to our workshop vacuums or wet/dry vacs. While we could of course use a whole lot of duct tape to kinda sorta achieve this, why not use the one and only fitting designed specifically for this purpose.
Hose to Hose
This fitting is designed to be used when connecting or reducing 4" hose to 2-1/2" hose. While there are other uses for this fitting, this is the primary function. All you need is a 4" hose clamp and a 2-1/2" hose clamp to secure your two hoses to the reducer.
Machine Port to Hose
Another function of this reducer is to to connect to 4" machine port opening. Many band saws, cabinet table saws, planers and more incorporate a 4" port. To correctly secure the reducer you will need to use either a small hose section or a rubber coupler fitting as shown above. The hose section and the rubber coupler are NOT included with the reducer.
Plug in Your Wet/Dry Vac Hose
Many of the hoses used for larger workshop vacuums use a 2-1/2" plug size. This size conveniently plugs right into the Fulton 4 inch to 2-1/2" reducer.

With the proper accessories, the Fulton 4 inch to 2-1/2 reducer is very easy to setup and the setup takes virtually no time at all! Simply attach the reducer to a hose section or rubber coupler and attach that to your machine and you're ready to go!
Measure Up
Made from high quality ABS plastic for extended periods of use, this fitting will withstand the constant friction and debris flow of woodworking dust collectors. The reducer measures: Nominal 4 inch end is 3-61/64” OD and 3-41/64” ID; 2-1/2” nominal OD end measures 2-15/32” OD and 2-9/32” ID. All of the dimensions may slightly vary due to slight variations in the manufacturing process.
